LITTLE RIVER/NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Two people were arrested for prostitution after undercover operations at spas in Horry County.
On February 6 around 10:50 a.m., officers with the Horry County Vice and Narcotics Unit conducted an undercover operation at Oasis Spa, located at 440 Hwy 90 E, Suite 7 in the Little River area, according to an incident report from the Horry County Police Department. Ruifang Pan, 49, of Flushing, New York, was arrested after allegedly making a hand gesture and inappropriately touching an undercover officer.
According to J. Reuben Long Detention Center booking records, Pan was booked around 12:35 p.m. on Feb. 6 and released around 11:45 a.m. on Sunday. She is charged with prostitution for a first offense and received a $200 bond.
Around 1 p.m. on Feb. 6, Horry County Vice and Narcotics Unit officers conducted an operation at Lily Spa, located at 2100 Old Hwy 17 in the North Myrtle Beach area, according to another HCPD incident report. The operation was reportedly conducted “after receiving a complaint that illegal sexual acts were occurring at the location.” Lishu Xu, 61, of Flushing, NY, was arrested.
J. Reuben Long Detention Center booking records show Xu was booked around 2 p.m. on Feb. 6 and released around 5 p.m. on Feb. 7. She is charged with prostitution for a first offense and received a $200 bond.
