HARTSVILLE, SC (WBTW) – Hartsville police say they caught and arrested two suspects after they tried to run from officers late Wednesday afternoon.
Lt. Mark Blair with the Hartsville Police Department says the chase happened around 3:30 p.m. when police tried to pull a car over. The car continued on towards Lake View Drive into a neighborhood and wound up on Johnson Street where the pair jumped out of the vehicle and were taken into custody after a short foot chase.
Police say Willie Bernard Huggins, 24, is charged with manufacturing/possession with intent to distribute schedule I, II, III substance, and Alan Michael Walters, 28, is charged with failure to stop for blue light.
Officers seized marijuana, alprazolam amd hydrocodone.
