MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Two men were arrested after a shooting Thursday at a Myrtle Beach bar.

Raul Denis with Horry County police says officers responded to Remedies Bar and Grill on Highway 17 Bypass at 8:15 p.m. on Thursday after receiving a call of shots fired.

When officers arrived, they found witnesses who saw a man hit another man with a pistol during an argument, and the pistol subsequently went off in the process.

Witnesses were able to describe the ca rthe suspects left in and officers found the vehicle and arrested both of the males in this incident.

Denis says Michquan K. Brown, 22, is charged with pointing and presenting a firearm, driving under suspension, failure to stop for blue light and siren, and unlawful carry of a pistol.

Corey L. Chestnut, 23,  is charged with resisting arrest and unlawful carry of a pistol.

One person was taken to Conway Medical Center for a minor cut to the back of the head.
