MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) –South Carolina Highway Patrol said a log truck lost its load on the southbound lanes of Highway 17 Bypass at Shetland Lane.
After the accident was cleared, the bypass was reopened but the area is still experiencing congestion as traffic is being diverted to Harrelson Boulevard.
Drivers are encouraged to use Seaboard Street, Robert Grissom Parkway or Highway 15.
