DARLINGTON, S.C. (WBTW)- The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office, USMS, and the Darlington City Police Department conducted a drug operation over the past two days.
According to Sheriff Wayne Byrd, 16 people were arrested on multiple drug charges.
46-year-old Everett Alan Yarborough of Florence is charged with distribution of cocaine base first offence and distribution of cocaine.
35-year-old Kevin Flemming of Florence is charged with distribution of cocaine base second offense.
36-year-old Travis James of Darlington is charged with distribution of cocaine base first offense.
22-year-old Deon Shawntwan Jackson of Darlington is charged with distribution of schedule II controlled substance, distribution of marijuana and simple possession of marijuana.
31-year-old Peggy Elizabeth Rivera of Darlington is charged with distribution of marijuana, distribution of schedule II controlled substance and distribution of schedule IV controlled substance.
27-year-old Lorenzo Tyrone Brown of Hartsville is charged with distribution of marijuana.
55-year-old Herbert Lee Washington of Darlington is charged with five counts of distribution of marijuana, two counts of distribution of marijuana within proximity of a school, distribution of schedule II controlled substance, distribution of schedule II controlled substance within proximity of a school.
23-year-old Brandon Brown of Darlington is charged with distribution of marijuana second offense, distribution of marijuana within proximity of a school, two counts distribution of cocaine base first offense, trafficking cocaine base first offense and simple possession of marijuana.
56-year-old Kelvin Berry of Darlington is charged with two counts distribution of cocaine first offense.
