ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. – Three men were arrested on April 23 after the Nash County Sheriff’s Office and Tar River Regional Task Force found 15 bricks of heroin inside of a vehicle.
Officials received information that lead them to approach a vehicle parked in a Wal-Mart on Benvenue Road in Rocky Mount.
Montrell Alston, 22, of Scotland Neck, faces three counts of trafficking in opium, heroin and opiates and one count of conspiring to traffic in opium, heroin and opiates up to 28 grams.
Marquavis Jones, 20, of Enfield, faces two counts of trafficking in opium, heroin and opiates and one count of conspiring to traffic in opium, heroin and opiates up to 28 grams.
Ke’Andre Doyle, 20, of Rocky Mount, faces two counts of trafficking in opium, heroin and opiates and one count of conspiring to traffic in opium, heroin and opiates up to 28 grams.
All three men are in custody at the Nash County Detention Center and each given a $1 million secured bond.
