NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – UPDATE: News 2 is at the scene of the fire, the flames are out, but it looks to be a massive loss at Ashley Village Townhomes in North Charleston. There is a huge presence from NCFD.
The damage has displaced 13 residents. The American Red Cross will help those who lost their homes to the fire.

Charleston county consolidated dispatch tells News 2 there’s a fire at Ashley Village Townhomes at 3311 Mountainbrook Avenue in North Charleston. The call came in at 8:40 A.M.
North Charleston Fire Department responded to the call.
Firefighters on the scene say there are flames coming through the roof.
