13 face prostitution charges after undercover operating in Myrtle Beach

Thirteen people face prostitution charges after the Myrtle Beach Police Department made arrests within a few hours on Friday.

According to the department’s jail website, the arrests were made from around 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The report from Myrtle Beach police says an undercover officer made the majority of the arrests after observing the women on various streets and making an agreement that the arrestees would provide sex acts for money. Arrests were made in Downtown Myrtle Beach between 8th Avenue South and 5th Avenue North.

Two of the 13 arrests were made through a solicitation service online, the incident report says.

The following people are charged with sex/prostitution – 1st offense, according to the department’s jail website:

Brittney Alexis Gregson is charged with ordinance/loiter-purpose of prostitution.

This comes just two days after an undercover prostitution sting resulted in 7 arrests.
