LEXINGTON, S.C. (AP) – Lexington County sheriff’s deputies say 13 people have been arrested at a flea market on charges of selling counterfeit goods.
Deputies told local media outlets that the goods had a value of nearly $1 million.
The arrests were made Saturday at the Number 1 Flea Market near West Columbia.
Sheriff’s deputies worked with the secretary of state’s office and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Sheriff Lewis McCarty said officers also seized more than $5,000 in cash.
