MYRTLE BEACH, SC – The 10th Annual Starfish Gala is Friday, May 12, at Pine Lakes Country Club in Myrtle Beach from 6pm to 10pm.. It’s the primary annual fundraiser for the Waccamaw Youth Center. The gala includes music, dancing, raffles, silent auction, food and an open bar.
The Waccamaw Youth Center, Inc. is the first and only low management group home in Horry County serving up to 20 severely abused, abandoned, and neglected males ages 12-21. The residents are living at Waccamaw Youth Center due to no fault of their own. Since our inception in February 2001, the center has provided more than 12 years of service to our community.
