107 marijuana plants in Georgetown lead to 4 arrests

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – Four people were arrested in Georgetown County Wednesday following a drug-related search warrant.

Following an investigation, agents with the 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit and the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office executed the warrant at 245 Jericho Ct.

The 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit says the investigation was spurred by numerous complaints involving increased traffic, suspicious activity and possible drug sales at the address.

According to a press release, agents found an indoor marijuana grow operation involving 107 marijuana plants, as well as “implements for care, propagation and cultivation of marijuana.” Officials say marijuana, marijuana-related products prepared for sale, packing materials and scales were also recovered from the home.

Agents also seized a handgun, assault-style rifle and a significant amount of cash.

The 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit arrested and charged Jon Michael Duvall, Katie Sanders, Ian Hendriks and Steven Duvall II with trafficking marijuana (more than 100 but less than 1000 plants). All were taken to the Georgetown County Detention Center.
