Ten people were arrested in a drug operation in the Atlantic Beach area.
On Wednesday, the Horry County Police Department Narcotics and Vice Unit and other law enforcement agencies executed four search warrants at Ocean Apartments on 31st Avenue South in the Town of Atlantic Beach, according to Mikayla Moskov, with the HCPD. The HCPD SWAT, Myrtle Beach Police Department SWAT, HCPD Street Crimes Unit, U.S. Marshal’s Task Force, ATF Task Force, DEA Task Force, Horry County Sheriff’s Office, and North Myrtle Beach Police Department helped with the operation.
Law enforcement officers seized the following in the operation, said Moskov:
- four handguns, including one stolen gun
- about $7,521 in U.S. currency
- 58 grams of gold with an approximate value of $2,600
- marijuana, crack, cocaine, and pills
Moskov also said 10 people were arrested and charged in the operation:

- Kenneth McCray, Jr.
- Tyler Maurice Harris
- Charvis Keon Anderson
- James Carson Sinclair
- Lamar McDaniels
- Tyquan F. McNeil
- Lauren Simpson
- Stefane Pierce
Ramos, 27, and Harris, 35, are from the Atlantic Beach area, according to J. Reuben Long Detention Center booking records. Anderson, 37, Sinclair, 55, McNeill, 28, and Simpson, 36, are all from the North Myrtle Beach area. Pierce, 57, is from the Supply, NC area and McCray, 27, is from the Andrews area. McDaniels, 60, is from the Myrtle Beach area.
