BENNETTSVILLE, SC (WBTW) – On Tuesday there was a fight between inmates at Evans Correctional Institution in Bennettsville.
According to Sommer Sharpe, PIO with the South Carolina Department of Corrections, two inmates were assaulted.
One was taken to the hospital for treatment and then returned to SC Department of Corrections.
The incident is under investigation.
