One person has been taken to the hospital after a shooting Wednesday night in Georgetown, according to a post on Facebook from the Georgetown Police Department.
The shooting happened in the area of Alex Alford drive and Emanuel Street. Police say a man was hurt and taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening wound.
Investigators are on scene following up on leads.
There was also a fight at the nearby Bethel Apartments on Gilbert Street. Another man was taken to the hospital after being stabbed in the leg, police say.
Officers are trying to determine if the two incidents are related.
So far no arrests have been made.
