RED SPRINGS, NC (WBTW) – A Silver Alert was cancelled early Friday after officials in Robeson County previously announced they were looking for a missing man from Red Springs.
According to an press release, the Red Springs Police Department was looking for 74-year-old George Lee “Chicken” Stephens. Stephens is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
Around 12 a.m. Friday, officials announced the Silver Alert had been cancelled.
No other details have been provided.
