NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Firefighters with the North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue and Horry County Fire Rescue are responding to a house fire on Holloway Circle off of Golfview Drive, according to North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue.

In a Tweet from North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue, they say the fire is under control and has been extinguished as crews now move to the overhaul phase.

The fire started just before 6 p.m. Monday, all the occupants of the home were out when firefighters arrived. According to North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue, crews quickly went to work placing 3 hose lines in service inside the home from the front door and rear door of home. The Truck crew went to work to create 2 ventilation holes on the roof in coordination with the crews working inside to minimize the spread of fire. The fire was quickly located and confined to the back area where the bedrooms were located.
