FDTC baseball, softball games postponed due to coronavirus

FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Florence-Darlington Technical College’s baseball and softball games have been postponed to the coronavirus.

On Thursday evening, the Region 10 Conference suspended athletic competition through April 5.

The #Reg10n has provided a statement on athletic events regarding COVID-19.

"Region 10 colleges will suspend athletic competition through April 5. We will continue to reassess where we are both locally and nationally at that time and make further recommendations at this time."

FDTC spokesperson Hunter Thomas says the college’s baseball and softball games have been suspended from Saturday through April 5.
