MARION, SC (WBTW) – A Marion police officer has resigned after being arrested for domestic violence.
PFC Stephen Sutton resigned on Monday morning, Marion Police Chief Tony Flowers confirmed to News13.
Sutton was arrested by the Marion County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday for domestic violence in the second degree, according to Flowers. Sutton was previously placed on suspension without pay pending an investigation.
