DARLINGTON, SC (WBTW) –  A man has been charged in connection to a Darlington hit-and-run and the victim is in stable condition at a local hospital, according to Capt. Kimberly Nelson, with the Darlington Police Department.

The hit-and-run happened around 6:30 p.m. Friday on Avenue D.

Jay Samuel, 48, of Darlington, has been arrested and charged in connection with the hit-and-run. He allegedly hit the victim with his vehicle and left the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
