DILLON, SC (WBTW) – Dillon’s mayor-elect, Corey Jackson, has been charged with 11 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, according to Thom Berry, with SLED.
Jackson turned himself in at the Dillon County Detention Center on Wednesday, according to the center. Jackson was given a $50,000 bond. He posted bond and has been released.
News13 obtained warrants for Jackson on Wednesday.
Warrants allege the following:
- That on April 24, 2019, Jackson used the Snapchat mobile app to solicit the victim to send Jackson “a sexually explicit nude photograph” in exchange for money. According to the victim, Jackson sent him “sexually explicit nude female photographs and encouraged the victim by offering him $100 in exchange for a photograph” of his genitalia. The victim reportedly provided SLED agents with photos and videos depicting the solicitation.
- That on April 23, 2019, Jackson used the Snapchat mobile app to solicit the victim to send Jackson “a sexually explicit nude photograph” in exchange for money. According to the victim, Jackson offered him $300 for a photo of his genitalia.
- That on April 20, 2019, Jackson used the Snapchat mobile app to solicit the victim to send Jackson “a sexually explicit nude photograph” in exchange for money. According to the victim, Jackson offered $150 in exchange for a photo of his genitalia.
- That on April 8, 2019, Jackson used the Snapchat mobile app to solicit the victim to send Jackson “a sexually explicit nude photograph” in exchange for money. According to the victim, Jackson offered him $150 in exchange for a photo of his genitalia.
- That around January 2019, Jackson used the Snapchat mobile app to solicit the victim to send “a sexually explicit nude photograph” in exchange for money. According to the victim, Jackson sent the victim “two sexually explicit photographs of a nude female and encouraged the victim by offering him $500 in exchange for a photograph” of his genitalia. The victim was 15 or 16-years-old at the time of the reported incident.
- That on December 25, 2018, Jackson used the Snapchat mobile app to solicit the victim to send Jackson “a sexually explicit nude photograph” in exchange for money. According to the victim, Jackson sent “two sexually explicit photographs of a naked female and encouraged the victim by offering him $600 in exchange for a photograph” of his genitalia.
- That during December 2018, Jackson used the Snapchat mobile app to solicit the victim to send Jackson “a sexually explicit nude photograph” in exchange for money. According to the victim, Jackson sent “two sexually explicit photographs of a naked female and encouraged the victim by offering him $100 in exchange for a photograph” of his genitalia. The victim and another victim reportedly sent a photo to Jackson, and one reportedly collected $100 from Jackson on February 22, 2019. Jackson allegedly offered to give one victim another $500 for “more nude photographs.”
- That around August to September 2018, Jackson used the Snapchat mobile app to solicit the victim to send Jackson “a sexually explicit nude photograph” in exchange for money. According to the victim, Jackson offered him $300 for a photo of his genitalia.
- That “during the week prior to July 4, 2018,” Jackson used the Snapchat mobile app to solicit the victim to send Jackson “a sexually explicit nude photograph” for money. According to the victim, Jackson offered him $1,000 for a photo of his genitalia. The victim reportedly refused to send a photo.
- That “around March to April 2018.” Jackson used the Snapchat mobile app to solicit the victim to send Jackson “a sexually explicit” photo for money. According to the victim, Jackson offered him $500 in exchange for a photo of the victim’s genitalia. The victim was 16-years-old at the time of the reported incident.
- That “between June 1, 2017 and September 1, 2017,” Jackson used the Snapchat mobile app to solicit the victim to send “a sexually explicit nude photograph” for money. According to the victim, Jackson offered him $300 in exchange for photo of his genitalia. The victim was 16-years-old at the time of the reported incident.

Berry would not elaborate on the investigation saying “it would be inappropriate because the investigation is still ongoing.”
