A man was arrested on Wednesday after a narcotics investigation by the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office’s Drug Enforcement Unit.
A press release from the office says 32-year-old Marion Wendell Brown, Jr., of Hartsville, was arrested at his residence on Westover Drive. He is charged with two counts of distribution of methamphetamine. Brown appeared before a Darlington County magistrate on Friday and received a $10,000 bond. Brown has since been released.
Police didn’t provide any other information about the investigation and a mugshot for Brown has not been released.
