DARLINGTON, SC (WBTW) –  A W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center officer has been charged with domestic violence and fired.

Timothy Tyler Jackson, 25, was arrested by Darlington County Sheriff’s Office investigators with the Special Victims Unit following “an alleged physical altercation with a female Jackson resided with,” a press release from the DCSO said. Jackson was employed as a detention officer at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center and was terminated. Jackson will be transferred to a detention facility is another county to await a bond hearing.

According to W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center booking records, Jackson was booked around 6:35 p.m. Wednesday. His charge is listed as criminal domestic violence.
