UPDATE:

HARTSVILLE, SC (WBTW) – The man arrested in connection with a deadly shooting in Hartsville has been booked into jail.

Dabry James, 19, was booked into the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center around 6 p.m. Thursday on one count of murder, booking records show. No bond has been set and he remains in the center.

UPDATE:

HARTSVILLE, SC (WBTW) – Dabry James, 19, the suspect wanted in connection with Wednesday’s shooting at East Park Apartments on Lange Court has been apprehended in Lee County.

The Hartsville Police Department is still investigating the shooting, but believe it resulted from a disagreement of the two parties.

James is expected to be booked into the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center and then appear for a bond hearing on Friday.

HARTSVILLE, SC (WBTW) – Hartsville police are looking for a suspect wanted for murder in connection with a deadly shooting at an apartment complex.

Dabry James, 19, is wanted in the shooting, which happened Wednesday at the East Park Apartments, located on Lange Court in Hartsville, according to Lauren Baker, public information officer for the City of Hartsville.

A 29-year-old man was killed in the shooting, the Darlington County Coroner’s Office said. The identity of that person has not been released.

Police said the shooting was a result of a dispute between James and the victim.

The U.S. Marshals Service and Darlington County Sheriff’s Office are helping Hartsville police in finding the suspect.
