UPDATE 6:30 P.M. SATURDAY – The Horry County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim in Friday’s deadly shooting.

Charles Hemingway, 21, died after being transported to Conway Medical Center, according to Deputy Coroner Chris Dontell.

Horry County police continue their investigation.

CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – One person is dead following an incident at a Conway area home, according to the Horry County Coroner’s Office.

According to Deputy Coroner Christopher Dontell, the person died at the hospital following an altercation at a Conway area home on Friday evening.

Details about the victim have not released yet. An autopsy is scheduled for this weekend.

Aarin Jamal ‘AJ’ Michael is wanted for murder in connection to this case, according to Horry County Police.

Police say the incident happened in the Mayfield Drive area at around 5 p.m. Friday. Officers were called to the home for a report of a shooting.

Michael is described as approximately 6’4” and 170 pounds. He is known to have a teardrop tattoo under his right eye, as well as multiple other tattoos on his neck and body.
