Police make arrest in North Myrtle Beach sexual assault case

Police in North Myrtle Beach have arrested a city employee in connection to a sexual assault case that happened on May 6. 

According to a press release from the City of North Myrtle Beach, officers arrested Jeremy Donnie Clark in connection to an alleged armed sexual assault that happened on South Ocean Boulevard. 

Clark is charged with Kidnapping, First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Violent Crime. He appeared before a city judge Saturday and plead not guilty. No bail was set. 

Clark worked as a motor equipment operator for the City of North Myrtle Beach. According to the press release Clark was two months into his six-month probationary period. On Monday the city says Clark will be fired from his position.
