MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – One person has been taken to a hospital after a stabbing in Myrtle Beach, according to Cpl. Thomas Vest, with the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
Police say the stabbing happened in the 1400 block of Mr. Joe White Avenue and the call came in around noon Tuesday.
One person was arrested and an investigation is ongoing.
On Tuesday evening, police confirmed to News13 that Christian Reeves Martin, 27, was the person arrested in the incident. He’s charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Police say the victim in the stabbing is expected to survive.
A report from the Myrtle Beach Police Department suggest the offender wanted to exchange a laptop for drugs.
