HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A 19-year-old was killed in a shooting near Conway Wednesday evening.
The victim has been identified by the coroner’s office as Tristan Sillsbury, 19, of Conway. Sillsbury was shot near Oak Log Lake Rd. outside of Conway, according to Horry County Police Department.
The call came in around 3:00 p.m., police said. A suspect was taken into custody around 6:00 p.m. and there is no threat to the community.
The coroner’s office ruled the death a homicide. The shooting remains under investigation.
