NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – A North Myrtle Beach mother accused of killing two babies is not the mother of Baby Horry, the Horry County Coroner’s Office says.
The SC Law Enforcement Division confirmed to the Horry County Coroner’s Office that Alyssa Dayvault is not Baby Horry’s mother, according to a press release from the coroner’s office. The results came in after months of DNA work.
Dayvault is charged in the deaths of two infants in North Myrtle Beach, the press release said. Baby Horry’s DNA will be submitted to Parabon Nanolabs for genetic genealogy.
On Tuesday, News13 reported that a judge granted Dayvault at $35,000 bond.
Other conditions for Dayvault’s release included:
- She shall stay in her home every day from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. If she is found outside, she is to be taken immediately into custody and to jail.
- She shall not have contact with minor children, including her own, without written permission from the court. If the state or defense wish to present any consent orders it will have to go through the court, not the DSS.
Warrants from the North Myrtle Beach Police Department allege that Dayvault disposed of a male newborn’s body around December 2 or 3, 2018 in the area of 98 S. Oak Street in North Myrtle Beach.
She is also accused of disposing of a female newborn’s body sometime between November 4-23, 2017 in the area of 1100 David Street in the City of North Myrtle Beach, according to warrants.
