Investigators believe a shooting victim at a local hospital and reports of shots fired on Kings Highway are related.
The Myrtle Beach Police Department is investigating what happened to a person who showed up at a local hospital with apparent gunshot wounds Thursday night.
Corporal Tom Vest of MBPD says the department is also investigating a report of shots fired in the area of 28th Avenue North and Kings Highway. The shots fired call came in around 8:45 p.m. Thursday.
Cpl. Vest said on Friday morning police believe the incidents are connected. No further information is available at this time.
