CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – A Myrtle Beach man has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for robbing a bank.
Donald Slattery, 46, pleaded guilty to entering a bank with the intent to steal, according to the state prosecutor, Adam Harrelson.
Slattery robbed the PNC Bank on Oak Street in Myrtle Beach in August 2018, Harrelson said. Evidence showed he entered the bank with a note and took an undisclosed amount of cash.
Myrtle Beach Police saw Slattery in the area of the bank and he matched the description given by bank employees and on the video surveillance system.
“It was the quick actions and response of officers with the Myrtle Beach Police Department that helped solve this case without any injury,” Harrelson said.
