MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – A 66-year-old Myrtle Beach man has been charged with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Ronald Gregg Hinch distributed multiple files of child pornography, according to investigators. He was arrested on May 30 and is in the J Reuben Long Detention Center.
The felony offense is punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment on each count.
Hinch has additional charges pending in Florida, according to the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.
The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.
Internet Crimes Against Task Force investigators with the Horry County Sheriff’s Office made the arrest. Investigators with the Walton County Sheriff’s Office (member of the North Florida ICAC TF), Conway Police Department (also a member of the SC ICAC TF), Myrtle Beach Police Department and Coastal Carolina Police Department assisted with the investigation and arrest.
