LORIS, SC (WBTW) – Loris police are searching for suspects in a home invasion.
Officers responded to a home on Walnut Street on December 26 for a home invasion “where the victim was injured,” the Loris Police Department said in a Facebook post. During an investigation, the suspect vehicle was identified as a Ford truck with green and silver/champagne colors.
The 67-year-old victim told police two men knocked on her back door, entered her home and went into her bedroom, according to an incident report from Loris police. The victim said that one of the men pushed her to the ground and held her down, while another person went through her bedroom. The victim also told police she tried to scratch and bite the offenders and injured her finger.
Police say that through a statement from the victim, they learned the following:
- the suspects were inside the home for about 20 minutes
- the suspects are described as being two white males, around 30 years of age, and wearing navy blue overalls
- 120 Fentanyl patches were taken from the victim
- the victim’s child, who has Autism, was inside the home
- the victim heard the names “Jason” and “Weston”. “Jason” may live in the Green Sea area and “Weston” may be from the Tabor City, NC area
- The victim previously had a man who went by “Jason” complete landscaping services on the property
- The victim previously had a man by the name of “Weston” and another woman live in her home for a brief period of time
