Five charged after organized retail crime ring investigation in Horry County

Five people now face charges following an investigation into an organized retail crime ring in Horry County.

Investigators with the Myrtle Beach Police Department along with the Horry County Police Department and the ATF Task Force began the investigation.

Investigators secured a warrant for a home in the Conway section of Horry County. While executing the search warrant, many stolen items were recovered.

The items have been linked to previously reported thefts.

The following people now face charges in connection with the cases:

Chief Amy Prock with the Myrtle Beach Police Department said, “This type of criminal activity can be very difficult to investigate. It is apparent in this case that our law enforcement partners, our local businesses, and our community members all worked together for a successful outcome.”
