MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Myrtle Beach police are investigating a shooting incident in the area of 7th Avenue North and Chester Street, according to a tweet from the Myrtle Beach Police Department.

MBPD held a press briefing around 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
According to Cpl. Tom Vest, with MBPD, one person has been detained in connection to the shooting. One person was injured and they are at the hospital. No information on their condition is available.
