NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference announced Friday four host sites for championships for the 2020-21 season, chosen through a bid process received from member institutions.

Two championships in the fall were awarded as UT Arlington will host the 2020 Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships and Appalachian State will host the 2020 Volleyball Championship. In the spring, Troy and South Alabama were awarded the 2021 Softball Championship and the 2021 Outdoor Track and Field Championship, respectively.

The Men’s Soccer Championship rotates on an annual basis and will be hosted by Georgia State in 2020.

Sun Belt hosted Championships include women’s soccer, indoor track and field, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s tennis and baseball. The Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships will move to a new location in New Orleans for 2019. The tournament will be played at the Smoothie King Center on March 14 and 15. Both men and women will bring the final four teams left in the tournament to New Orleans.

The Baseball Championship will be held at Montgomery’s Riverwalk Stadium in 2020 in the first of a five-year deal with the capitol city of Alabama.

The 2019 Women’s Soccer Championship will again be held in Foley, Ala., marking the fourth consecutive season at the Foley Sports Tourism Complex.

The 2020 Women’s Golf Championship will return to LPGA International in Daytona Beach for a second consecutive year.

The Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships, held simultaneously at the Peachtree Tennis Facility in Peachtree City, Ga., will split into two separate Championships starting in 2020. The Men’s Championship will take place from April 16-19 and the Women’s Championship will follow from April 23-26.
