Conway, SC (WBTW) – The Coastal football team hit the field for the first time this summer as they gear up for the 2018 season. One big change fans will see is the return of head coach Joe Moglia after taking the 2017 off to deal with breathing and respiratory issues. The team finished just 3-9 a season ago making the full time transition from FCS to FBS and playing in the Sun Belt conference. There is reason for optimism with many returning starters on offense and a defense headed up by new defensive coordinator Marvin Sanders. The Chants open the season on the road, Saturday, September the 1st at South Carolina at noon.
