Over 4,200 customers are without power in Florence.
South Carolina Highway Patrol also reports that traffic lights are out at East National Cemetery Road and Freedom Boulevard as well as Freedom Boulevard and Pamlico Highway
Duke Energy says the outage is due to a damaged transmission line and they are working to repair it now. The company asks for patience from their customers and expects the problem to be resolved by 4:45 p.m.
