GREENVILLE, S.C. (MEDIA GENERAL/WSPA) – An accused bank robber was arrested after his father called authorities to report him.

Nicholas Clay Gregory is accused of robbing United Community Bank on Haywood Road in Greenville, South Carolina, Wednesday afternoon.

Investigators said Gregory handed the teller a note demanding money and then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Gregory’s father later contacted police to report his son was the man who robbed the bank.
