LAKE CITY, SC (WBTW) – Police were involved in a car chase Monday morning that ended in a crash and an arrest.
Lake City Police said they received a call about a suspicious person near Advance Auto. When police showed up, a man took off in a stolen car.
Police chased the car through Coward, but the chase ended on Highway 4 when the driver crashed, according to police.
The driver, identified as Jacob Brown, was arrested. Brown is expected to be charged with vehicle theft and failure to stop for a blue light, police said.
