FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Getting kids ready to head back to school can be tough for a parent’s budget.
A Florence barber and stylists spent Sunday afternoon giving back to the community with free haircuts.
Pete’s Barbershop opened Sunday to make sure kids could go back to school in style and feel confident for the new school year.
“It feels great to give back to the next generation and to be able to be a blessing and help to them and anyway we can to help the community, even through a haircut. I think that’s a way to minister to the kids and get the kids to see a different side that they can be blessed with getting a haircut before back to school,” mentioned Sansbury.
The goal Sunday is to give 100 kids free haircuts.
