MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Tuesday Myrtle Beach police arrested a man and charged him with voyeurism and violating a place of privacy.

The incident reports says that Myrtle Beach police were called to the Bi-Lo on 38th Avenue North about a man taking photos up a woman’s skirt using a cell phone last Tuesday.

The victim told officers that she was shopping for groceries when she noticed the suspect standing right behind her.  The report says the woman heard what sounded like two pictures being taken from a cell phone and she saw the man bent down next to her taking photos up her skirt.

She asked the suspect “what are you doing” and when he walked away, she followed him to his car. The woman was able to take a photo of the man and also get a picture of his car license plate.

When investigators ran the tag, they saw the vehicle was registered to 56-year-old Jacob Parrot.

Officers also connected the car to another incident in April where a man that matched the suspect’s description also took pictures up a victim’s skirt with a cell phone.
