Water main break in Florence floods street, delays traffic

FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) -Florence utility crews are working to repair a ruptured pipe in the city Tuesday morning.

Florence officials said a 12 inch water main ruptured beneath the road  between Palmetto Street and Pine Street.  The water is flowing onto South Irby Street causing some traffic delays.

Officials say they hope to have the line fixed as soon as possible.
