JACKSONVILLE, Fl. (BRPROUD) — LSU point guard Tremont Waters hit the game-winning shot with 1.6 seconds left in the Tigers’ second round NCAA Tournament game to vault LSU into the Sweet 16, 69-67.
In the video posted above, Waters talks about “blacking out” during the final shot of the game.
It will be LSU’s eighth trip to the Sweet 16 in program history. The Tigers will play either Minnesota or Michigan State in the next round in Washington DC.
