CONWAY, SC – Horry County Sheriff Phillip Thompson and the board of directors of the Sheriff’s Foundation of Horry County announce the seventh annual Charity Golf Classic on Saturday, May 11. The tournament takes place at Wild Wing Plantation.
The foundation has gifted over $170,000 in scholarship money to local high school seniors and law enforcement personnel and to support local colleges and universities through the establishment of endowments and annual awards.
The golf tournament format is a four-person captain’s choice. The cost is $100 per player, with mulligans and tickets for door prizes available for purchase. The deadline for submission of golf entries is April 26.
