NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC – The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach is having a “Repuplicans & Democats Adoption Event” on Election Day, Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 11am – 5pm. Adoption fees for all shelter pets will be reduced to $20.16 for the event. Adoption fees include spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations and micro-chipping. Manger, Tina Hunter, was on News 13 Now Tuesday to talk about the event.
The Humane Society’s promotion is an effort to draw attention to a problem that shelters all over the country are dealing with; the large number of homeless pets.
Currently the North Myrtle Beach shelter has 147 available pets for adoption. Anyone interested in adopting can stop by the shelter; 11:00 am – 5:00 pm on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 to take advantage of this adoption promotion.
