FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Officials with the Florence Police Department say there is an active criminal investigation into a Florence County Sheriff’s Office deputy.
Major Mike Nunn with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office confirms a deputy is on administrative leave without pay. Nunn says the investigation is the result of an incident that occurred at the deputy’s home while they were off duty.
Officials say they could not yet release any other details surrounding the allegations because the investigation is still open.
No arrests have been made, and the name of the deputy being investigated has not been released.
