GREENVILLE, N.C. – An eastern North Carolina pet adoption organization says two dogs were stolen from a recent event.
According to police records, two dogs were reported stolen from a Greenville pet store on Oct. 29.
According to Adoptable Companions, the dogs were stolen at one of the rescue organization’s adoption events at PetSmart.
Police records show the two dogs stolen include a 20-week-old Chihuahua Mix and 10-week-old Jack Russell Terrier.
As a precaution, Adoptable Companions has added more volunteers for its adoption events in hopes of preventing other dogs from being taken.
