CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – Horry County police say they have arrested a man twice over the last two months in possession of stolen guns.
According to Raul Denis with Horry County police, detectives arrested a man in possession of firearms and narcotics at a business on Hwy 501 on October 21. Reports say he was arrested because his property contained one of the firearms stolen during the burglary at 5 Star Guns earlier in the month.
Twenty-three- year-old Norod Arcane McCullough of Loris was charged with felon in possession of a firearm, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a pistol, trafficking in illegal drugs, unlawful carry of a pistol and driving under suspension.
McCullough was booked at the Horry County Detention Center and was subsequently released on bond.
Tuesday, Horry County police were asked by the ATF Violent Crimes/Gang Task Force and the US Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force to help find and arrest McCullough on a Federal indictment. Officers took the suspect into custody without incident at a home on Highway 905 in Longs.
McCullough was found to be in possession of three additional firearms, two of which were stolen from 5 Star Guns.
McCullough is currently being held at the Horry County Detention Center where awaits transfer on the Federal charges.
