LUMBERTON, SC (WBTW) – Lumberton police say they have arrested one person in connection to the shooting incident at the McDonald’s restaurant in November.

Captain Terry Parket with the Lumberton Police Department says Damian Jeremiah Bowers,19,  of Lumberton was taken into custody without incident in Wilson North Carolina Thursday.

Bowers was charged with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, for the shooting incident at the Mcdonald’s on Roberts Avenue on Nov. 11.

Parker confirmed that a man shot two employees after they asked the gunman and a group with him to move their car for a delivery truck around 9:45 p.m. After the shooting the group left in the car.

Booking records show Bowers is being held in the Robeson County Detention center under a $80,000 secure bond.

Parker says more arrests are possible as the investigation continues.
