FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – South Carolina Highway Patrol seeks help identifying a driver who hit and killed a man in Florence early Sunday.
Tyshon Johnson, 22, of Timmonsville, was walking in the 2800 block of West Palmetto Street on Sunday morning when he was struck by a car. He died at the scene, according to Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutchen.
Trooper Sonny Collins posted on Tuesday a photo of a car that is representative of the one that hit Johnson.
In the post, the vehicle is described as a 2010-2012 Buick Lacrosse 4-door sedan that is silver in color. The vehicle left the scene traveling on West Palmetto Street toward Timmonsville. It may have damage to the right front and hood area. The passenger’s side mirror should also be missing the cover.
